Improving Skype UI on the grounds of Usability Principles

Identified usability critique through surveys, use case scenarios, storyboards, questionnaires, and collecting quantitative and qualitative data.

Conceptual re-designing was done using wireframes and MS PowerPoint followed by task analysis and user flow.

Developed an interactive prototype of Skype UI on MS PowerPoint.

Usability testing was done on the prototype in a lab setting for developing the final Skype UI system.

Developing Exterior and Interior layout of a new car in Compact Sedan Segment

Functional and competitive benchmarking analysis was done for Ford Focus Sedan SE, VW Jetta, and Mazda Mazda3 (all model year 2017).

Exterior and interior dimensions were noted as per SAE Standards J1100, J1052, J1516, J1517, etc, as shown in adjacent sketches of each car.

Exterior and interior layout of the new car was developed using benchmarking data and calculations from SAE Standards and Anthropometric data as shown in adjacent sketches.

Developing Portable and Wearable Laser Scanner for scanning 3D Components

Need statement for developing this product was formulated and user needs were obtained by user interviews and questionnaires.

Kano model was formed for sorting user needs and KJ Affinity Diagram helped in grouping user needs.

Functional and Competitive Benchmarking was done of devices - Handy Scan 700, ARTEC Industrial 3D Scanner, FARO Scanner, and Tobii Eye Tracker.

Quality Function Deployment (QFD) chart was deployed to find key design specifications.
